Supplier Of The Year
The award ceremony took place in Wiesbaden, the German city where the headquarters of Kion Group (European leader, and second group of the industrial vehicle sector worldwide after Toyota) are located, and was the climax of the annual meeting with the suppliers, an important occurrenceduring which all future collaboration policies are defined.
Among the many world strategic partners of the Kion Group, only five were awarded the coveted recognition of “Supplier of the Year 2012”.
Included in this shortlist was MIVV (together with the Italian Gruppo Bolzoni Auramo, the Chinese AVIC Guzhou Hong Yong, the Dutch Witte Van Moort, and the German Volkswagen AG).
The award confirms MIVV as the best supplier of exhaust systems in 2012,
highlighting its capabilities in meeting the requirements of its customers during the optimisation of all the processes (R&D, manufacturing quality), therefore ensuring appropriate “cost savings”.
The selection of the winners was entrusted to key representatives within all the brands distributed by the group (Linde, Sill, Fenwick, OM, Baoli, Voltas).
During its assessments, the jury took into account several parameters: from the quality of the components supplied, to the reliability of the delivery process, to price/performance ratios.
“Being recognised among the best suppliers by an entity like Kion Group," said Danilo De Berardinis, CEO of MIVV, “fills us with pride. It’s a strong signal, in a moment of deep crisis, which fundamentally acknowledges our strong willingness to continue to look forward, always pursuing our research projects, without compromising on any aspects of the production chain. This award confirms that we are on the right path, and places the production of our exhaust systems at an extremely high level, certainly at the top as far as theEuropean market is concerned."
In exactly the same way as Kion Group, MIVV also aims at operating excellence, at reaching a zero defect quality performance, and ensuring a lean, fast, and efficient organisation.

MIVV is a family run Company, not belonging to any international groups, involved in the design and production of exhaust systems and components for motor vehicles, implementing high quality standards and highly efficient production processes.
The company has been on the market for 40 years and has 4 production plants, with a staff of 170 employees and with a turnover of over 16 million euros in 2011.
